Each tribal carving holds a spiritual meaning. The Koru is a traditional Maori symbol representing new life, new beginnings, hope, love, tranquility, spirituality and well being. It is symbolic of a new fern plant unfurling.
This pair have been hand carved by New Zealand master carver Ewan Parker who works from a studio in a rural town on the East Coast of New Zealand's North Island. Ewan's carvings are very distinctive with a bold yet elegant style ranging from very traditional and finely detailed Tiki to more contemporary renditions of traditional elements such as these Koru. Ewan believes that the stone will suggest the most appropriate carving hidden within so every piece is unique and perfectly matched to the sacred Pounamu (Greenstone) from which it was born.
All prices include worldwide Airmail Insured delivery.
