A small contemporary drop pendant, hand carved from some wonderful New Zealand Tangiwai stone. This piece is a beautiful dark green with lots of variation in the stone. When backlit you can see the internal structure of the material.
This is a lovely pendant we've named after a well known peak in Fiordland - if you've ever walked the Milford Track you will have seen this awesome landmark - if you haven't it's definitely worth the trip!
Traditionally, the drop shaped pendant is known as a comfort stone and is worn to soothe, heal and provide positive energy. In New Zealand this shape is called 'roimata' and is a stylised, softer version of the toki.
A lovely pendant if you are looking for something traditional with a decorative binding.
