ONE ONLY

The Tiki is a very ancient symbol and is by far the least understood, so there are a number of legends in relation to its meaning to the Māori people.

The tilted head symbolises thinking, the hand is strength, the mouth is communication, the heart is love.

This work is carved from deer antler, it's variation in colour is a result of the natural colour of the bone.

This is a large carving reflective of the ancient, and somewhat mysterious history these symbols hold.

Size: 85mm (3.3 inches) wide
