Hand carved from New Zealand Flower Jade. The beautiful colour changes from the characteristic green to glorious orange / red make this a real eye-catcher.

Carving and polishing the jade revealed a few internal pits in the stone. We have left these as an integral part of the jade this piece is carved from - they add to the character of this toki.

The toki is a tribal symbol representing strength. It is designed to honour the adze which was used to build, fight, defend and played a important role in the daily survival of ancient tribes.

We deliver this pendant on a plaited Kalahari adjustable cord with a Ice White binding. We will also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
