BEACON OF HOPE - there is always hope, no matter what. A fantastic sentiment to hold dear in these times!
This is a lovely delicate, New Zealand jade pendant. BEACON OF HOPE was carved for us by Ross Crump in a teardrop, twist design - locally called a 'Pikorua'. He has used a beautiful piece of Marsden jade and worked his magic with this awesome stone.
BEACON OF HOPE looks wonderful worn high on the neck, but can be positioned where you like on its adjustable cord. You can also wear it reversed - it has a beautiful presence either side.
Definitely check out the video to see the shape of this piece, it is very cool!
The twist symbolises an unbreakable friendship, a bond that has no beginning and no end. It reflects the natural ebbs and flows that occur in any relationship without breaking the bond.
This is a really lovely, delicate piece.
The twist carving with its crisscross form represents the many paths of life and love and as such is regarded as the original eternity symbol. The single twist carving represents the joining together of two people for eternity. Its shape describes the way relationships shift, sometimes moving apart, but coming together as a couple share their lives.
It represents how the strong bond of friendship, loyalty and love last forever.
The perfect gift for someone whose life is closely linked with yours:
- your partner
A meaningful gift of love.
The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’. The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.
