We upsized our Warrior Pendant - check out COYOTE
This is a large Toki carved from New Zealand Flower Jade (Pounamu).
This toki is carved from a lovely piece of jade - it exhibits some of the gorgeous soft colours that are unique to New Zealand jade from the Marsden region. COYOTE is finished in a really soft matte which makes the jade glow.
To contrast and complement the subtle shades of green, and pale orange, we've bound this piece with a beautiful, hand-plaited Manuka Green, Khaki and Burnt Gold Cord and a Burnt gold Binding. The cord is length adjustable.
COYOTE is a strong piece we've designed with an eye to the future. The Koru heart is all about new beginnings - the courage to successfully deal with anything the future has in store for you.
The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful ....and this is a good one!
Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage to assist through life's challenges, and the koru is a symbol of rebirth, growth and new beginnings.
We include our 'Kia Ora' cards explaining the meaning behind both the Toki and Koru designs.
