BENGAL TIGER - a very lovely and visually striking BURMITE pendant.

We've named this after the mighty Bengal Tiger - it has the colouring of this fabulous animal and the raw material comes from the same part of the world.

This piece of amber has beautiful clarity which reveals vast array of ancient inclusions - bits and pieces of organic materials that were captured in this piece when it formed.

The Chinese have been using Burmite to make jewellery since around 200BCE. They believe that it is a symbol of courage and bravery and that it contains the soul of a tiger. We are continuing the tradition.
