FIREFLY is a little masterpiece - a combination of two traditional designs beautifully carved, integrated and finished. The carving is incredibly tight and precise, and the decorative engraving is detailed and beautifully follows the flow of the hook.
Fumio has created something quite unique. FIREFLY is a spectacular, intricate twist with hook - it can be worn as a pendant and will draw a lot of attention, or it could be displayed as a sculptural piece.
The material used for this carving is a natural Bone. Over time the colour will take on a more golden hue, and develop a beautiful patina. The bone used is dense and extremely tough and will stand wear very well if you decide to wear this piece daily. This is certainly a pendant that can be worn all the time.
