GOLDEN ESCAPADE - a lovely single twist pendant by Ric Moor. This piece is carved in a subtly coloured New Zealand Flower jade - an expressive and unique stone.
The twist design is locally called a 'Pikorua' and is a symbol of relationships. This is a gorgeous little example, carved in a curved drop shape with a lovely soft matte finish. This showcases the jade beautifully - and it is a lovely piece of Marsden Jade.
GOLDEN ESCAPADE looks wonderful worn high on the neck, but can be positioned wherever you like on its adjustable cord.
Definitely check out the video to see the shape of this piece, it is very cool! It is a chunky, solid piece but the lovely design gives it a visual lightness.
The twist symbolises an unbreakable friendship, a bond that has no beginning and no end. It reflects the natural ebbs and flows that occur in any relationship without breaking the bond.
