GREEN HORIZON - a name that perfectly encapsulates the soft greens and tranquil shape of this lovely toki pendant. A perfect representation of the sights you might see while on a stroll through New Zealand's countryside.

GREEN HORIZON is carved from a lovely piece of local New Zealand Jade. This piece is suspended from a 3-plait tan/black cord with a Jade toggle and loop closure.

GREEN HORIZON is a beautiful piece of traditional jewellery.

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.

The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.
