ISLAND TIME is a wonderful engraved Matau. This piece is carved from bone by a new carver for us - from the wonderful island of Tonga!

A little about the carver...

In 2000, my father and my older brother started this Carving Family business that is still running to this day. Despite the challenges of the global pandemic and economic crisis we love what we do, preserving our Tongan traditional art and carving. 

Ever since I’ve helped my brother with carving. I have never gained any form of education in regards to art or carving skills. My carving work experience was obtained by watching my father and my brother's work.
