LIFETIME - a hand carved toki pendant, which will last a lifetime, and start a legacy for the generations that follow....

This is a large Toki carved from New Zealand Flower Jade - locally known as Pounamu.

We have added a Kalahari plaited adjustable cord with an Olive Green lashing to pick up the glorious colours in this striking piece of pounamu.

LIFETIME is carved from an exceptional piece of jade - the stone has the gorgeous soft colours that are unique to New Zealand jade from the Marsden region. The artist has finished this in a matte finish - with wear body oils will be absorbed by the jade, it will darken slightly and take on a soft sheen - taking on some of the character of the person wearing it.

LIFETIME is a strong piece we've designed with an eye to the future. The Koru heart is all about new beginnings - the courage to successfully deal with anything the future has in store for you.

The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful ....and this is a good one!

Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage to assist through life's challenges, and the koru is a symbol of rebirth, growth and new beginnings.

We include our 'Kia Ora' cards explaining the meaning behind both the Toki and Koru designs.
