The material used for this carving is a natural, untreated deer antler. These are shed annually after the roar - the mating season - and is a wonderful material for carving. Over time, the colour will take on a more golden hue, and develop a beautiful patina. The bone used is dense and extremely tough and will stand wear very well, so don't be afraid to make this your daily companion! This is certainly a pendant that can be worn all the time.
