Emerald greens and dark, expressive hues - a striking piece of New Zealand pounamu crafted into this gorgeous toki. Ric has been very generous with the jade, which means you've got a solid little companion!

MOTHER NATURE'S KISS is a very strong adze pendant.

The jade varies considerably in appearance from front to back, so you have a pendant that looks fabulous whichever side you choose to wear it. Slip it over your head and get going - life's full of adventures and they're all waiting for you.

MOTHER NATURE'S KISS is carved from a lovely piece of local New Zealand Kokopu Jade. The quality of the workmanship and design is outstanding - this is a piece you will want to wear all the time. We have suspended this from a 4-plait black cord which can be adjusted with a couple of slip knots.

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.

The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.

We also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
