It has a silky smooth finish that is wonderful to wear and to handle.

The finish is a superb soft polish - perfect for the design and a little reminiscent of the ocean wicking off a breaching whale.

The koru design is an integral symbol in Maori art forms. The spiral is a Koru, which represents the fern frond as it opens bringing with it new life and purity - a fresh beginning. It is a symbol of peace, tranquillity and spirituality.

The koru is also associated with nurturing, so is frequently used to represent the strength and purity of a loving relationship within a family.

The WHALE has quite some significance in Polynesian cultures.
