This large sized matau pendant was carved for us by Ric Moor. PURE POUNAMU is a bound Matau, carved with Ric's beautiful craftsmanship. We love how Ric has carved smooth and clean curves into this hook, to fully appreciate this, have a look at the video.
Ric tells us that he prefers this soft matte finish to a higher polish because, with time and wear, the pendant will adapt and change with the owners lifestyle and become a 'personal' piece. Well if this becomes better it will be pretty amazing because the jade is beautiful right as it is!
