SUNBREAK - first light, fresh and serene
This is a wonderful toki! The jade is gorgeous - a predominantly golden brown with splashes of deep, deep green! It really does remind us of the sun appearing over a bush-fringed ridge.
Carved from a lovely and striking piece of jade with a soft polish finish, SUNBREAK is a fantastic example of the beauty of New Zealand flower jade. The colours are strong and earthy - a great reflection of the land that produced the stone!
The plaited cord is Black, and it is length adjustable.
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful ....and this is a good one!
Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage to assist through life's challenges.
