New Zealand Kauri Gum - a gorgeous, varied gum from our native Kauri tree! This gum has spent a good part of its life buried in swampland locked up in fallen Kauri - it is quite rare and very beautiful - especially in the hands of a talented artist!
Kauri Gum is the fossilised resin of the Kauri Tree, a rare piece of history from Kauri trees long gone. It is an amber, not a stone.
This particular piece is a beautiful, hand carved Amber drop pendant. A unique pendant with curves that make it soft and sensuous - it is a wonderful piece in the hand and light weight. It will be very comfortable to wear.
