This is a very unique piece - carved from New Zealand Tangiwai, a rare stone from New Zealand's South Westland. This stone is renowned for its glass-like qualities. Fine pieces are virtually translucent although in this case the thickness and colour produce a gorgeous deep green\/black appearance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have bound this piece with a traditional lashing on the shaft - decorative and tough.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA visually strong pendant, beautifully carved with a traditional binding this piece looks like it means business.
