"Seek to copy the good example of others", Rueben Tipene
Add an exotic piece of jade to your jewellery collection. This exquisite KORU KAPE disc pendant by Rueben Tipene is hand-carved and features a captivating double koru design.
Really lovely is the depth of this piece - you can see this in the video. It is a solid piece which really does lend the design a richness that is further promoted by the beautiful stone Rueben has used.
KORU KAPE is provided with a two-tone Pacific Blue/Chestnut coloured cord. If you would like a different coloured cord, fixed length or adjustable, please let us know in the comments section at checkout.
The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’. The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.
