Kerry has carved this GRACEful twist design for us from whale bone.
The shape is streamlined, gloriously curved, elegant and unique. This pendant is carved from whalebone. It displays the typical speckled grain which, in this piece is nice and fine. Over time and with wear this pendant will absorb body oils and take on a gorgeous golden hue - this is a material that just gets better and better with wear and age!

The twist carving with its crisscross form represents the many paths of life and love and as such is regarded as the original eternity symbol. The single twist carving represents the joining together of two people for eternity. Its shape describes the way relationships shift, sometimes moving apart, but coming together as a couple share their lives.
