CROSS COUNTRY - the perfect name for a Toki that displays a beautiful array of forest greens, earthy browns and subtle curves. Everything you'd like to see during a walk through the countryside!
The colouring varies considerably from front to back so you have a pendant that looks fabulous whichever side you choose to wear it. Slip it over your head and you'll be donning a stunning piece of wearable art.
CROSS COUNTRY is carved from a lovely piece of local New Zealand Flower Jade, locally known as Marsden. This piece is suspended from a fine 4-plait black cord which can be adjusted with a couple of slip knots. Wear it exactly where you'd like!
CROSS COUNTRY is a beautiful piece of traditional jewellery.
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.
The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.
We also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
Delivery with Express Courier is included in the price.
