DORADO - a large, chunky drop pendant, carved in stunning New Zealand flower jade.
We've named this piece DORADO after a particular constellation in our Southern Sky. Dorado contains much of the Large Magellanic Cloud, and is rich in deep sky objects. This stone is its reflection on earth - rich in mineral inclusions and delightful colour variations!
Hand carved for us by New Zealand jade artist and carver Darren Hill. DORADO is a large and visually striking piece of jewellery. Darren has used Marsden flower jade for this piece, and Hene has bound it with her usual attention to detail - the right colours and binding for such a large piece.
This is a fantastic piece that beautifully reflects the mystery of Jade and the land it comes from.

Darren has finished DORADO with a soft matte that really accentuates the mysterious nature of the stone - it adds an aura that is perfect for this pendant.
