The stone Raegan has used for this Toki is fascinating! A gorgeous pale, chatoyant diopside from the Tasman region in the North of our South Island.
DREAMS CARVED IN STONE is a medium sized Toki, hand carved and polished to a bright sheen, a finish that really promotes the stone's colours and structure. It has a good depth and plenty of heft - a piece to wear and take ao any adventure!
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful ....and this is a good one!
Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage to assist through life's challenges.
