KAGEKIYO - The leader of the defeated Taira Clan. Rather than witness the triumph of his enemy, he blinded himself and went into self-imposed exile. He is a hero of the oldest theatre style played today - Noh.
A spectacular piece of wearable art for all lovers of traditional play masks, Japanese culture and just very fine carving! KAGEKIYO is a magnificent carving, hand crafted from Deer antler and stained with a dye that Fumio makes specifically for this purpose.
This has been beautifully carved by Fumio Noguchi. A one-off Bone KAGEKIYO mask - this really is a memorable work of art! Signed by the artist.
