KORU WITH A TWIST - Art to Wear in Black Jade
Wonderful, creative carving by Kerry Thompson. A gorgeous Koru carved in Wyoming Black Jade - the carving and finish here really make the very best use of this beautiful material, and show the natural stone in all its glory!
This is a standout piece. It is a design that can be worn by anyone. A koru like no other we have seen with a very subtle twist through the shaft - beautiful to wear and lovely to hold.
WE HAVE ONE PIECE ONLY.
The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’. The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.
KORU WITH A TWIST is provided with an adjustable Charcoal and Silver Grey cord.
Take a look at the video and you will appreciate the artistry of this beautiful piece.
Also included, our 'Kia ora' card, which explains the meaning behind the koru design.
DELIVERY WITH EXPRESS COURIER IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE.
