Hand carved by Ross Crump - this is a beautiful pendant carved from gorgeous semi-translucent, pale green Jade.
This piece looks fantastic from both sides - on one side it is carved with a little definition from the bottom up to the tail, on the other it is smoothly rounded and solid!
To appreciate the design, take a moment to watch the short video. This shows the piece slowly rotating and will give you a clear view of the shape and the colour of the jade.
The Manaia: a mythical being believed to be the invisible light, or aura, surrounding a person. They represent spiritual power and are believed to be the guide that leads the spirits to heaven. They are worn to guide and protect.
We will provide this pendant with a 4-Plait Fern Green plaited cord which is length adjustable.
