MOONFLOWER - A traditional style hei-matau or hook pendant, hand carved in white Onyx stone. This is an interesting stone - it has quite some character with small pale green and clear inclusions scattered throughout the stone. This is a unique, standout piece which we have bound with a hand-plaited Black cord and a Sunrise binding.
In New Zealand Maori tradition the fish hook represents prosperity, abundance, strength and determination and is also worn to show a respect for the ocean. Wear this amulet for safety when travelling, particularly over water.
