JŌMON
In stock
Before modern Japan arose there existed a neolithic culture called JŌMON. They occupied lands we now recognise and South Western Japan and Southern China during the period 14,000-300 BCE. They were primarily hunter gatherers and farmers, but they did develop some clay art forms - most very simple but some quite complex - like these.
Yuri has a fascination for art in ancient cultures and he represents these in his bone piece. These are a lovely design and can be worn with either side facing forward.
Take a moment to view the video - this shows the fine carving and the subtle turns that are central to this very clever design.
We have TWO only - these are delightful, medium sized, artistic pieces of jewellery.
We provide this pendant on a plaited, length adjustable cord.
Delivery with Express Courier is included in the price.
