Beautifully carved large and elegant drop earrings hand carved from NEW ZEALAND Tangiwai Pounamu. Hand made by Josey Coyle.
Josey has used lovely this rare and lovely stone - Tangiwai for these drop earrings. Tangiwai is a beautiful dark green but reveals its semi-translucent, glass-like appearance, and interesting inner structure, when held up to the light! We have back-lit this with a light in one of the photos to show this for you.
These are subtle earrings - a simple design that beautifully conceal the inner life of the stone. They are beautifully carved and suspended from simple Sterling Silver hooks. Nothing detracts from the simple beauty of the carving.
