Beautifully balanced, hand carved koru pendant with Maori Koru relief carving detail. We have these in either Woolly Mammoth Tusk or Natural Bone.
The Koru is a traditional Maori tribal symbol of creation, new beginnings, love, peace and harmony. The detailed carved design is used to talk about the past - the story of the tribe, or an individual, carved in wood or bone to preserve information for future generations.
This carving is presented in a traditional woven flax pouch and a hand-plaited cord which is length adjustable. Please use the drop-down menu to select the piece that you would like.
