LAND AND SEA

Hand crafted for us by Yannis Petzold. A beautifully designed and crafted piece of art to wear. Yannis combines eclectic materials and an exceptional eye for detail to produce some of the loveliest, natural jewellery around!

The Materials....

The toki is carved from a recycled piece of Lignum Vitae - a silky smooth, grainy and gorgeous wood that is beautifully finished.

The inlay are Aotea Stone, New Zealand Pounamu (Jade) and Pāua Shell. They are Paua encased in brass and the other inlays are bedded in silver.

Yannis has also added a 7,5,3,2 pathway created with little Sterling Silver points representing genealogy. 

The neck cord is in its own right a little work of art! A hand plaited, spiralled cord in brown that is a fixed length with a Paua Shell Toggle.

LAND AND SEA is a very cool piece. It has clean lines, is silky smooth and exquisitely hand made by a fantastic New Zealand artist. Yannis has carved this with the flair that you would expect to find in his work - and his craftsmanship is flawless.
