OSTARA - handcrafted New Zealand Jade and Sterling Silver Pendant.

This pendant by Swiss jeweller Michel Girardin features a beautiful oval piece of dark New Zealand jade, framed in sterling silver. The jade is rich and deep in colour, with a smooth, polished surface that catches the light. Its larger size makes a confident statement while remaining elegant and wearable.

Michel has added an art deco feel to the design with the addition of silver flowers at the top and bottom of the pendant. These delicate floral forms bring a sense of structure and vintage charm, balancing the simple oval shape with intricate detail.

Michel comes from a Swiss family of jewellers and trained at La Chaux-de-Fonds Art School. That training is evident in the careful proportions, the clean setting, and the immaculate finishing.

The result is a striking pendant, bold and refined, and beautifully crafted by a master of his trade.
