STRONG EDGE is a gorgeous yellowy green toki, a contemporary pendant carved from a beautiful piece of New Zealand greenstone from the Nelson region. This is quite a rare stone recognisable for its swirling grey/green colouring and the hint of gold where the stone is cut from the outer part of the jade.

STRONG EDGE has been polished to a soft matte finish - perfect for this particular piece of jade. This final treatment highlights the changes in structure and colour in the stone.

As an adornment, the Toki, or Adze, is said to bring courage and strength in times of adversity. It is a symbol of courage and strength in times of adversity and is often worn by Maori elders as a symbol of power, wisdom and authority.
