KAHURANGI is carved from a semi-translucent green Jade. It is a finely carved - and we think what Ross has done with this piece of KAHURANGI is spot on!
KAHURANGI is a wonderful exemplar of the hook - the matau. Beautifully carved with fine detail and in a manner that highlights the beauty of the stone.
The Hei-Matau is a powerful symbol representing prosperity, abundance and fertility. It is also believed to provide good luck and safety when travelling over water.
