This is a cracker of a toki! The jade is gorgeous - a predominantly a golden brown with splashes of deep, deep green! It really does remind us of the sun striking a bush-fringed ridge.

This toki is carved from a lovely and striking piece of jade with a soft polish finish. To contrast and complement the subtle shades of green and orange in the stone, we've bound it with a beautiful plaited Kalahari Cord and a bold Manuka Green Binding.
The cord is length adjustable.
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful ....and this is a good one!
Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage to assist through life's challenges.
