GOLDEN POINT
This Toki displays a beautiful array of earthy greens and pale orange/yellow hues. It is large and carved with an oblique finish on the bottom edge. The stone used is a lovely Marsden jade.
GOLDEN POINT is a beautiful piece of traditional jewellery made to be worn. Jade is a resilient stone and enjoys being worn daily!
The colouring varies from front to back so you have a pendant that looks fabulous whichever side you choose to wear it.
GOLDEN POINT is carved from a lovely piece of local New Zealand Marsden Jade. We have suspended this from a 4-plait beige cord which can be adjusted with a couple of slip knots.
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.
The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.
We also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
Delivery with Express Courier is included in the price.
