It is prized by carvers for its consistency and quality - artists like to work with this stone because it allows a lot of freedom to create and carve.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn skilled hands, some beautiful work is produced from Marsden jade - this is a wonderful example of 'carving to the stone'.
