SUCCOUR
A beautiful Koru for someone who may need a little comforting! A fabulous pendant - quite unique and, in our view, a marvellous design that capitalises on the glorious jade Kyohei has used here.
The front face is slightly cupped, and holds the koru relief in a subtle embrace - a great symbol of protection and SUCCOUR.
This particular piece of stone is wonderfully translucent and if you look at the top right side you will see a hint of red - this is called totoweka and is quite rare in our jade. It certainly adds a little heart to this pendant!
Watch the brief video we have made of SUCCOUR slowly revolving. It reveals all the angles and subtle variations in colour, and just might help you imagine how this piece will make you feel when you slip it over your head.
The KORU, represents a young, unfurling fern frond opening and bringing new life and purity to the world. It also represents peace, tranquility and spirituality, along with a strong sense of growth or new beginnings.
