Here's something a little different! A hand carved contemporary pendant made from Australian yellow Prehnite. This is a gorgeous semi-transparent stone which reveals its fascinating internal crystalline structure and variation in colour from piece to piece.

The prehnite is handcarved and hand polished to best reveal the delightful nature of this material.

A wee bit of background on the material. This particular prehnite comes from the Northern Territory in Australia and formed in the gas bubbles of volcanic lava which erupted during the Cambrian Era - so this stone is around 530 million years old.
