UNITED FORCE is a small, hand carved piece that links the sky, land and sea. These are important symbols down here in the South Pacific and are often found in carved art.

The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’.  The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.
