SMOKE THAT THUNDERS - jade matau

Beautiful, delicately carved and graceful, the pounamu used for this large Matau is absolutely stunning!

This particular piece has been carved from a fascinating piece of New Zealand pounamu, a smoky green with hints of mauve and yellow. 

If you are going to gift this piece, we suggest that you wear it for a day or two - it will carry your mana (spirit) forever.
