AQUA VISION's materials.... ebony, bone, turquoise, lapis lazuli, pāua and brass
AQUA VISION's disc is carved from a beautiful deep brown (almost black) piece of ebony wood.
The major inlays are bone and turquoise. The small round inlays are lapis lazuli and pāua shell - these are encased in brass.
The neck cord is hand plaited in a beautiful spiralled design in black. It is a fixed length with a Paua Shell Toggle and loop closure.
AQUA VISION is a very cool piece. It has clean lines, is silky smooth and exquisitely hand made by a fantastic New Zealand artist. Yannis has carved this with the flair that you would expect to find in his work - and his craftsmanship is flawless.
