This pendant is carved from a gorgeous bright green piece of jade with interesting mineral inclusions that appear as splashes of orange. Shaun has highlighted these beautifully in this traditional pendant. The stone has a wonderful, semi-translucent appearance when held to the light. They represent spiritual power and are believed to be the guide that leads the spirits to heaven. They are worn to guide and protect.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe Koru\u003c\/strong\u003e: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’.
