This little shield pendant is carved from a beautiful piece of New Zealand Kawakawa jade, soft and semi translucent - this stone is beautiful!
BOÖTES was carved by Darren Hill. Darren uses beautiful stone and mostly carves free-form pieces. He has a great ability to work with the stone to create delicate jewellery from what is very tough and resilient jade. His finish is always flawless and he completes his work - like this piece - with a soft polish that takes on an individual glow with wear.
