Hand carved pendant made from BURMITE AMBER with Sterling Silver clasp. This piece of burmite has an awful lot happening - it is full of organic material that was captured forever around 100 million years ago.
This is a darker piece, a deep gingery gold colour, with an internal fracture that shimmers in certain light. This is an interesting structural feature of Burmite, created when the pressure of volcanic activity and associated high temperature alters the structure of the resin.
ECLIPSE has an interesting tiny insect captured in its heart - this can be seen with the naked eye, but is obvious in the magnified photos. Check them out along with the rotating video to get an appreciation of this piece of jewellery.
