Fumio Noguchi has transformed a piece of red deer antler into something special - a ring featuring the MENPŌ, the traditional face guard worn by samurai into battle.

As we often see with his best work, Fumio lets the antler do some of the talking. Parts are left beautifully raw and organic, while other areas are carved with care to reveal the fierce details of the mask. The contrast is striking. It feels ancient. It feels powerful.
