PERCEPTION - the ability to become aware of something using your senses....
An intricately carved pendant by one of our favourite bone carvers - Yuri Terenyi. PERCEPTION displays Yuri's exceptional talent, he has an ability to hand carve intricate, organic pieces that have an unbelievable symmetry. This is a great example of this talent!
PERCEPTION is carved from bone and stained with a tea dye that Yuri makes specifically for these pieces. Over time, and with wear, the colour of this piece will alter and improve - they seem to take on a look that is unique to the wearer depending on what they are subjected to. So a unique piece of jewellery will become a very personal piece.
We have bound PERCEPTION with a hand-plaited Wapiti Brown and Khaki Green cord and placed a little Khaki Green Floret around the cord just above the carving.
The Manaia: a mythical being believed to be the invisible light, or aura, surrounding a person. They represent spiritual power and are believed to be the guide that leads the spirits to heaven. They are worn to guide and protect.
Delivered to you on our combo cord of Wapiti Brown and Khaki Green which is length adjustable. We will ship this with Express Courier.
