SAFE SPACE
In stock
SAFE SPACE is carved from a deep green piece of New Zealand Marsden jade. A very high quality stone that produces a really striking finish and look! This piece is bound with a dark, Wapiti brown cord and we have used the same colour for the necklace. This can be adjusted with a couple of slip knots. Wear it exactly where you'd like!
SAFE SPACE is a beautiful piece of traditional jewellery, carved from a wonderful piece of deep green Pounamu.
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.
The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.
We also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
Delivery with Express Courier is included in the price.
