THE FIFTH ELEMENT is a carved from a lovely piece of New Zealand Inanga Jade. Ross Crump has used his remarkable talent to craft a beautiful, complex koru design. We think a lovely gift for someone with a family of five, or those among us who love the koru!
THE FIFTH ELEMENT is one of those 'WOW' pieces. Carved for us by Ross Crump, it is a fanciful example of what is possible with a high quality piece of jade, in the hands of a Master Carver.
It is a large koru design with five koru florets unfurling from the centre. Beautifully balanced and very finely carved. Backlit, light flows through the florets revealing the inner secrets of our favourite stone.
The best way to appreciate this piece is to watch the very short video we have taken of it slowly rotating. This is an eye-catching, substantial piece of jewellery, and perfect if you love bold, striking art - designed and made to wear.
The Koru, represents a young, unfurling fern frond opening and bringing new life and purity to the world. It also represents peace, tranquility and spirituality, along with a strong sense of growth or new beginnings.
THE FIFTH ELEMENT is lovingly packaged in a woven kete pouch.
Please note - the photo shown in the hand is for size reference only.
We ship this to you on a four plaited Khaki adjustable cord and will also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the koru design.
